Our minister is Colin Smith who is also Circuit Superintendent.

We are also delighted to say that Deacon Janet Heys continues her work in the circuit working specifically in the Fairfield Estate.

Our church is located in an area of Buxton, Derbyshire, England close to the majestic Peak District National Park and a wonderful area for a holiday.

The present church is 26 years old but there has been a Methodist presence in Fairfield since 1783 when John Wesley preached here.

Our church is of modern design and used by a variety of organisations. It has the loop system installed for people with hearing difficulties and has access for wheelchairs.

The Church building consists of the main multi purpose Church with removable seating , a meeting room and modern kitchen all of which are in excellent condition and all the rooms are available for hire or retreat. Contact us at this link.

You can also download our conditions of hire & the Church leaflet.

If you would like to have a brief look at what our Church looks like inside. Click on the black box below- if you have sound turn your speakers on.

Fairfield Methodist Church 2010

There are now only twenty some members of the church who work hard to maintain a Christian presence in the area.
